Deroulpack^®ergonomic film dispenser

For approximately 10 years our firm has supplied customers with reels of stretch packing film. These customers varied from stores, logistics companies, warehouses, including several large retailers.

They complained about the poor working conditions of their order pickers when filming the pallets:

high fatigue
backache
accidents (insecurity)

Our customers were seeking a solution to this problem and ask us for an “Innovative” dispenser. Dispensers currently in use were heavy, not secure, required excessive manual effort and caused back pain.

We gathered a group of filming operators, an ergonomist, and a doctor, to design specifications for a new dispenser A design office and designers worked on this document and proposed prototypes. Then, after validation by our customers and the favorable opinion of the INRS (French state body specializing in the improvement of working conditions and safety linked to workstations), we patented the Deroulpack and put it on the market in 2010.

Our design proved to be an immediate success and we have since provided our film dispenser to more than 1,200 French companies,in the logistics and transport sectors and many other businesses requiring to film wrap products on pallets.

Currently more than 20,000 customers use the Déroulpack film dispenser system daily.
